Outfit Charm (How appealing and unique is it?) 5 points
Description (How well your character fits the description you chose) 5 points
Pose Language (Does your character's pose fit him, what does it tell about your character) 3 points
Concept Interest (The originality of your concept and how intriguing it is) 5 points
Back Story (This was not required but to some point your character has to express his goal, personality and habits even in just one art work) 4 points
Uniqueness of Appearance (Does he resemble an existing famous character too much? Is he memorable?) 5 points
Execution (Art quality; not based on just the artist skill, but also the effort based on your other deviations

WHAT IS THE CONTEST FOR?
This is made for aspiring manga artists who excel at either traditional OR digital art.
All you have to do is pick ONE of the 3 descriptions below and create a fresh new original character.
Go challenge yourself and improve your skills by participating in a fun rewarding game with fellow manga artist aspirants.
The choices are all boys. Because since I'm holding the contest I think I have enough rights to demand some BISHOUNENs! wahahah~!
But I will still ask nicely,

CHARACTER CHOICES
The choices revolve around fantasy themed characters so you can go all out with your costume and prop designs.

1) Meek and dorky, "megane-moe", potion brewer. It's up to you if you want him to be good at it or really bad at it that it becomes irresistibly aDORKable. Physically weak and timid. *Megane means glasses. Use your imagination.

2) Strict, Bossy, Hot tempered, Fashionable, Demanding and Respected/ Infamous Pirate. Loves Money. Use your imagination.

3) A Tsundere Seme. Swordsman, Captain of his platoon. Neat freak and obsessed with order and obedience. Use your imagination.

*4) WILD CARD theme: (if you take on this challenge, you better be proud and confident baby because all the rest of the details are up to you! :'D) Male Mermaid. (merman.)

SUBMISSION DEADLINE JUNE 17th 2012  11:59pm (Sunday) JAPAN time.

RULES AND SUBMISSION GUIDE
PLEASE READ IT PROPERLY TO AVOID GETTING DISQUALIFIED.
1) Only TWO max submissions per person. and ONE character in a submission.
2) Please link back to this journal in your artist comments; tell people your character is made to enter this contest.
3) Please put your characters' names in the artist comments. (You can add stats or other info if you want)
4) This character should be NEW, not a remake of your old ones or your existing ones doing cosplay.
5) Should be in full color, in a media of your choice.
6) TRY not to make it look too much like existing famous characters. (Hair, skill or clothes wise)
7) NOTE the link to me. With the title "ENTRY: (name of your character)"
8) Please remember it's called BISHOUNEN contest; your characters have to be sexy, beautiful, hot, or cute boys!
